On Saturday, the Greenies hosted a "Fiesta" for my co-worker that is moving off to India in about a month. Hemanth isn't JUST a co-worker, he's also a good friend of mine and Matt's. Honestly, he is one of the kindest, friendliest, and most sincere guys I've ever met. On top of that, he's a TERRIFIC process engineer and will be sorely missed by the Albuquerque office. Luckily, our company has found a place for him in one of our offices in India, so he won't have to start his job search all over again.
Our Fiesta party was a hit and I think Hemanth and his beautiful wife, Tania, had a great time!

Nearly our entire office came out, with their spouses, kids, significant others, etc. Even a few of Hemanth and Tania's pals from their church made it to the festivities. Since we had such a great turnout (around 50 people), I'm not going to post too many photos. However, here's a shot of the crowd about halfway through the evening:

Also couldn't resist taking a picture of the kids playing together with the "girl" and "boy" toys... Here's a shot of an army soldier taking a rest at the dollhouse. Ha!

We had plenty of queso, tortilla chips, tamales, salsa, sombreros, and mustaches to go around. Even tried out a little "New Mexican" attire myself:

Shot of the Greenies with Hemanth and Tania (and yes, hell hath frozen over...that's a UNM Lobo shirt...it's since been burned...):

And finally, our guests of honor, Hemanth and Tania, at the end of the evening.

We'll certainly miss them and I really hope that they'll make Albuquerque a permanent stop on their way in their futures! Good luck and Godspeed to you both!
Ole!
